Pulses

Explore beans as part of a varied meal.

What are pulses?

In Chinese dietary guidance, pulses include dried beans other than soybeans, such as adzuki and mung beans. They are often combined with grains.

Choose the combination you enjoy

Pulses can be used in porridge, rice dishes and other meals. For mixed products, the actual ingredient list is more informative than the flavour name alone.

Preparation still matters

Bean type, processing and appliances affect preparation. No-wash or no-soak does not automatically mean no cooking. Follow the pack instructions and cook thoroughly.
