Make room for whole grains
Start with variety and find combinations that fit your routine.
Understand whole, then think variety
Whole grain refers to retaining the grain components, rather than a dark colour or coarse appearance. Oats and brown rice are familiar options. Pulses offer a different group of ingredients to combine with staples.
Look beyond one sachet
WHO guidance emphasises variety, including whole grains, legumes, vegetables and fruit. A grain blend can be part of that pattern; it does not replace attention to the complete meal.
Build a routine you enjoy
Start with a drink, porridge or rice dish you enjoy. Prepare it as directed and adjust your choices to taste and tolerance. Specific nutrient restrictions depend on individual needs.
